Technical Writer

Please note: This is not a remote position. The role requires you to work on-site or in a hybrid capacity. Full remote work is not available for this job.

As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our technical documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams to create and maintain documentation that helps our customers, partners, and internal teams effectively use and understand our products. Your work will directly contribute to improving the customer experience, reducing support inquiries, and accelerating the adoption of Quatt’s sustainable home energy solutions.

What you will do:

• Develop, structure, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, troubleshooting documentation, and FAQs.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather and translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content.

• Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all documentation, adhering to Quatt’s style and branding guidelines.

• Create visual aids, diagrams, and structured content to enhance readability and comprehension.

• Contribute to the development of a knowledge base and self-service documentation for end-users and installers.

• Continuously improve documentation based on feedback from users, support teams, and other stakeholders.

• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve documentation processes and tools.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a hardware, software, or energy-related industry.

• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.

• Experience working with engineering, product, and customer support teams to gather and validate technical information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Word, Git, or similar platforms.

• Basic understanding of version control and technical illustration tools is a plus.

• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving the user experience through great documentation.
