As the Senior Systems Administrator (Applications Manager), your key role is to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operation of computers, applications, and networks. With a focus on cloud-based software, your responsibilities include device and account management, as well as implementing hardware and software security measures.

What you will do:

• Establish account management processes: Develop and implement standardized procedures for managing accounts across diverse systems, providing oversight of the application landscape for each team.

• Manage app accounts: Provision and configure application accounts for new hires, and deactivate accounts for departing employees. Ensure new employees set up secure passwords and adhere to security guidelines.

• Serve as security manager: Implement and monitor security measures to protect against unauthorized access and breaches. Develop and conduct security training sessions to educate employees on safe system usage and enhance cybersecurity awareness.

• Monitor the expenses associated with various IT platforms and services, analyzing usage patterns and identifying opportunities for optimization.

• Manage the workspaces of Quatt employees: Oversee employees' workspaces by managing laptops and IT equipment, ensuring its correct functioning. Track laptop usage and maintenance for efficient resource allocation and support.

• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions that align with the organization's budgetary objectives and strategic goals.

• Become the Product Owner Internet, meaning you are responsible for any potential issues, concerns and actions that need to be taken related to our Internet provider and connection.

• Brainstorm ideas on how to improve our internal processes and help us grow.

Job Requirements:

• You have 7+ years of experience in system administration and application management roles, both with Windows and MacOS.

• You have previous experience with developing and implementing tech security strategies and protocols.

• You have a proven track record of managing and maintaining IT infrastructure and software applications, preferably in a scale-up or fast paced environment.

• You have strong project management skills for coordinating application deployments and upgrades.

• You want to make a positive impact on the world and fight climate change.

• You are not afraid to work independently, make mistakes, learn from them and fix them.

• You are full of energy, eager, and want to learn and grow.

About Quatt

Quatt is an ambitious start-up that was founded in 2021 by two entrepreneurs and brothers from the Netherlands. Our goal is to accelerate the transition to sustainable heating in the Netherlands and abroad. Our first product is a smart, hybrid heat pump for the Dutch market.

The Dutch government is strongly incentivizing 8 million homeowners to get rid of natural gas and start heating sustainably within the next few decades. Unfortunately, the current pace of heat pump installations is far too low. Therefore, Quatt is improving the overall customer experience, adding smart control software, simplifying the installation job and, last but not least, greatly enhancing the aesthetics. By doing so, we want to increase adoption by an order of magnitude.

We are developing a highly advanced control system based on several AI technologies, like Machine learning and Deep learning. This system enables us to operate our heat pumps, in conjunction with already installed natural gas heaters, in the most cost- or energy-efficient way, at any given day. We estimate this can reduce heating costs by about 20%. By combining this with D2C sales & installation, Quatt is aiming to reach a payback time of 3-4 years; and thus a very quick uplift in sales.
