Industrial Design Intern

As an Industrial Design Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the design team in developing innovative and user-focused products. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create and refine designs, contribute to concept development, and bring ideas to life through detailed models and visualizations. This internship offers a dynamic opportunity to grow your skills, gain hands-on experience, and make a meaningful impact on exciting design projects.

What you will do:

• Support the design and development of innovative product concepts, contributing to all stages of the design process.

• Create and refine 3D models and visual assets to communicate design intent effectively.

• Assist in brainstorming and ideation sessions to develop creative solutions for user-centered design challenges.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and marketing, to align design concepts with project goals and requirements.

• Conduct research on trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to inform and enhance design concepts.

• Contribute to the preparation of presentations, design documentation, and prototypes to support project development and decision-making.

• Participate in design reviews, providing input and incorporating feedback to improve designs.

What you’ll need:

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as Keyshot, Blender, SolidWorks, or Fusion360, with a strong ability to create visually compelling and accurate designs.

• Familiarity with design tools like Photoshop, illustrator  and other graphic design software to enhance visual presentations.

• A passion for user-centered design, with the ability to incorporate research and feedback into design iterations.

• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on both technical accuracy and aesthetic quality.

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

• Availability to work from our Amsterdam office as needed to collaborate effectively with the team.
